An interesting map from a children’s geography book.  This double page map of the United States shows the territories of Oregon, Utah, western part of New Mexico to the west of the Rocky Mountains. To the east are the North-west Territory, Nebraska Territory, Minnesota Territory, eastern Territory of New Mexico and Indian Territory.  Both California and Texas are states at this time.
