About

The Philadelphia Print Shop is one of the world's leading dealers in Antique Prints, Maps & Rare Books!

Established in 1982, The Philadelphia Print Shop operates on a philosophy of offering the finest collection of antique art on paper within a rigorously researched historical context. Visitors to our new gallery are welcome to browse our collection of over 10,000 antique maps and prints and to view our impressive array of related reference works, rare plate books and atlases. The Philadelphia Print Shop is a member of both the Washington Map Society and the International Map Collector's Society. Our knowledgeable staff is always pleased to discuss any aspect of antique prints and maps, or offer advice on any questions you might have.

In August, 2020, David Mackey acquired The Philadelphia Print Shop and relocated and opened the distinguished business in Wayne in October. David was raised on The Main Line, and with the exception of 10 years in Florida, has lived in Chester County for most of his life. After stumbling on an old map of Berwyn at The Devon Horse Show in 1998, David has been a serious map collector ever since.  A licensed commercial real estate broker and land development professional with more than 35 years of experience, David has been a collector and purveyor of antique maps for more than 20 years.
