Remarkable early plat map of Valley Forge Park, shortly after it became Pennsylvania's first state park in 1893 with 250 acres. Showing significant land holdings and historic areas, including Washington's Headquarters, Washington Memorial Chapel, the Mount Joy Observatory and the Washington Memorial Arch. During the 1976 Bicentennial celebration, Valley Forge Park became Valley Forge National Historic Park, consisting of over 3,500 acres.
