Philadelphia: S.A. Mitchell, Jr., [1860]–1866.  Lithograph.  Original hand color.  13 ¼ x 21 ¼.  With decorative floral boarder.  With inset map of Newfoundland.  Scattered staining and water stains right and left hand margins.  Else, good condition. 

The Territory of Montana and what would become the Wyoming Territory were ceded by Idaho in 1864.  What is today Wyoming is indicated as part of the Dacotah Territory.  Utah still retains its northeastern portion which it will cede to Wyoming in 1868.  Nevada is lacking its southern tip which it will gain from Arizona in 1867.  The Dakotah and Indian Territories are indicated.
