Arizona has not yet ceded its western portion to Nevada to form the southern tip of the territory. Utah still retains its northeastern territory which it will cede to Wyoming in 1868. Dakotah [sic] and Indian Territories are indicated. Two inset maps of Hampton Roads and Pensacola Bay appear in the lower right hand corner. All later editions replaced these two maps with an inset map of Newfoundland.
