George F. Cram. "New Jersey."
Chicago: George F. Cram Co., 1928. Color cerograph. 14. x 10 3/8. Archivally repaired tear in area of Cumberland & Atlantic County lines. Else, very good condition.
A handsome map of New Jersey from the George F. Cram firm of Chicago. With the development of wax engraving (cerography), more maps and atlases were, for the first time, easily produced in cities beyond the major printing centers of New York, Philadelphia and Chicago. This is a nice example of his output, showing the Garden State, with an inset of the area near New York Harbor.
