Louisville & Nashville Railroad.  “Map of the Louisville & Nashville Railroad and Connections / The Dixie Line / L&N.”

This very detailed map has a poster quality with outline colors in red for trackage and yellow for state boundaries.  The eastern boundary is the Atlantic coat, and the western edge goes to the near borders of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  The northern edge takes in to Chicago, Cleveland, and New York City.  Fortuitously, Louisville and Nashville are at almost perfect center.  The title inset has a pleasant illustration of a streamline engine.
