Frank Coxe ( 1839- 1903) was an industrialist, banker, and railroad executive. He was the grandson of Daniel Coxe, whom served as the assistant secretary of the treasury under Alexander Hamilton. Frank briefly served in the Confederate army, but left service, and fled to Europe, when the Federal government threatened to confiscate land he owned in Philadelphia.
