A print from a delightful series of silhouetted children’s poems.  Reminiscent of the German art of Scherenschnitte (scissors art), each of these charming prints illustrates a particular month.  The Victorian Era saw the rise of the sentimentality of childhood and here, the children are seen playing, going to school, and engaging in fun activities appropriate to each month of the year.  A copy of the corresponding month’s song is included with each print.
