A map of the Netherlands issued to illustrate Lavoisne’s Historical Atlas. The maps in this atlas were issued on sheets containing text around or below the maps giving the situation and history of the areas depicted. The text presents the history, physical description and important dates indicated on the map itself. The second Philadelphia edition contained updates from the London edition of 1817.
