Most likely published in London ca. 1860.  24 x 18 1/4 (image).  Engraving by Frederick Bacon.  Two short repaired tears into image at top.  Upper left and right hand margin corners chipped, not affecting image.  Else, Very good condition. 

Spiritualism and fortune telling, especially predicting love and marriage, was a craze that swept Britain during the mid 19^th century.  All strata of society believed in Spiritualism including Queen Victory and it was particularly attractive to women as they were viewed, at the time, as more spiritual than men.
