A print from the first important work published by Francesco following the death of his father Giovanni in 1778. This work is basically a continuation of his father’s work Le antichita Romane. The first volume depicted various ancient Roman temples. The second part of this series published ten years later focused solely on the Pantheon and prints from this second part which were not as widely issued are considered scarce.
