French artist, Mazerolle's painting waqs made in 1877, depicting a communal meal among early Christians as a time of fellowship. The Greek word, "agape," is defined as love in its broadest sense.
The original painting is part of the collection of the Sam Fox School at Washington University of St. Louis.
