Typical of product promotion, this advertisement for Viceroy cigarettes is timed to specifically refer to the Jewish High Holy Days, and includes a reproduction of a “300 year old Dutch print” showing “a shofar in use.”

This ad appeared in various publications aimed at a Jewish audience, such as the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle and the publication of the Reform Jewish Appeal, from which this copy was taken.
