In 1971-72 the Johnson Reprint Company of New York City in conjunction with Theatrum Orbis Terrarum Ltd published a full-size reproduction series of the complete Audubon Havell edition of the Birds of America.  It was limited to 250 sets and in the trade is known as “The Amsterdam Edition.”  For some prints it took eight different colors to complete the printing process.
