Most maps have foxing and water stains with manuscript in ink and/or pencil mostly all in the maps margins. Sold as is.
The maps from this atlas are the work of Aaron Arrowsmith (1750-1833), an Englishman who was the foremost cartographer of his period. This atlas contains 53 engraved maps; two world maps, 29 related to Europe, 16 on Asia, Africa, and Oceania, and 6 related to the Americas (North America, United States-extending to the Mississippi River, west of which all is blank and labeled as Louisiana--Mexico, West Indies, South America).
