Foreign Field Sports

A beautifully produced group of sporting prints issued in 1814 by Edward Orme. These vivid prints are based on drawings by such famous English artists as Samuel Howitt and J.A. Atkinson, and they show various sporting and hunting scenes from around the world. The aquatinting and original hand coloring are excellent, as are the compositions. For their cultural content and aesthetic quality, these lovely prints are very desirable.
