A lovely and detailed elevation of Atherton Hall by Chales Klauder.  This building still stands on the Penn State campus and was completed in 1939 a year after the Klauder’s death.  It is interesting to note in this drawing that a portico was included in the design on the right hand side but was not built.  This is the reason why the drawing at one time had a mat to hide this detail.  Klauder contributed many classical revival style structures for the campus including Sackett Building, Buckhout and Borland Labs, Steidle Building, the Nittany Lion Inn, additions to Pond Lab and Sparks Building, the Power Plant, Henderson Building and a new Old Main.
